Engineers Without Borders - Skövde is a politically and religiously independent nonprofit association. Our mission is to contribute to a sustainable global development by sharing technological and scientific knowledge with disadvantaged communities, thereby helping to improve their quality of life. We are a local chapter of EWB-Sweden.

Albanian Centre of Excellence, ACE

ACE is an independent organisation, established in 2002 in Tirana, Albania. ACE has a mission to mobilize the best intellectual resources for economic, political, scientific and civil society developments. It constantly observes and reflects the latest national and international development in these fields, making efforts to apply these achievements for the benefit of the of society development in Albania.

It was during the OECD LEED conference in Trentino, Italy, in the autumn of 2005 that the contact and exchange between Sweden and Albania started. The Social Economy network from Sweden was there talking about their cooperation for the strengthening of the local development and the possibilities for future projects together with the Social Economy sectors in other parts of the world.

Ideella föreningen Globulen (NGO)

The purpose of the non governmental association Globulen is to gather people, associations and businesses committed to the social economy and local development. To learn from each other and to share knowledge, experiences and expertise, and work together for the future development.

The membership fee is the contribution and sharing of the personal competence and committment.

Social business - local development - integration & youth - international contacts are and have been the main themes in the association during its first years.
